Okay. But it does mean that it can be fairly humid in the morning, ranging to comfortable(?) in the afternoon.

Sometimes For instance, spring and summer mornings will be kind of "dewey" when you first step outside - you'll notice your grass is wet like maybe a rain shower has just passed and they'll be moisture on some of your plants. But this quickly all evaporates as the sun rises and the humidity drops. Our most uncomfortable days will be the end of July/beginning of August. The humidity and heat can make days uncomfortable for some not used to living in the south. For me, having grown up in Louisiana - where the humidity always hovers at 80%! - I find NC weather very pleasant year round
