Default Hamlet/RockingHam Area

Hi

I'm considering purchasing about 28 acres just outside Hamlet at Marks Creek. I'm curious if anybody knows the area and can tell me anything about it before I decide to fly up and check it out myself. Apparently its mostly lowland with some upland and I'm concerned about buildabilty. I don't want to build right away but will eventually (say 10 years).

Also, does anybody know if you can pay a builder to give you advice about the property even though you don't plan to build right away?

Thanks!

Jim
