my little girl wants to fish (Spindale, Lake Lure: live, pay, place)

hiya,as you can tell my little girl wants to go fishing,im in forest city,up from florida,down there you throw a rock in any direction you hit a pond or lake,here it seems you have to pay to fish in peoples ponds,very different..can anyone tell me of a good place to fish in or around forest city,i pretty much know my way around but need a good fishing hole.thanks for any info..
