I'm considering transferring to Catawba College in Catawba, NC and I was wondering, for anyone who lives in that vicinity, what is Catawba like? I know it's small, so I'm assuming there won't be many clubs and whatnot, but is it a long commute to bigger cities? Is it relatively safe there? It seems like a pretty decent town & campus, but I could be wrong. And the Catawba residents and Catawba College students, are they friendly for the most part? It seems like a pretty laid back school and everyone was really nice when I visited, but looks can be deceiving. Any info at all will be helpful, thanks!
And Catawba Valley Community College is in Hickory (Catawba County).
