Among your strange, but unique gastronomical preferences (vinegar'd bbq sauce, for example)... isn't it you guys who like to put coke and pickle juice together?
Can someone please explain to me why this is so popular?

Wtf? I have never heard of that here. Peanuts in your Coke/Pepsi or Dr. Pepper of course.

I've lived here all of my 46 years and never heard of that. Would you please cite your source?
PS--In North Carolina, its "y'all", not "you guys". :eyeroll:

Recipe for Tom's Peanut's in bottled Coke, from the White Trash Cookbook. Empty small bag of peanuts into bottled coke bottle. Drink happily until you come to end. Turn end up and bang on bottom to dislodge the rest of peanuts from bottom of bottle. Enjoy. Never heard of pickle juice in any soft drink.

Do us a favor--the next time you start a thread with a thinly-veiled insult at an entire population over some perceived "weird food combination", do try to at least be sure that such a combination actually exists...

Maybe it is deep fried pickles and a cold bottle of Cheerwine?
