i wouldnt worry so much about the terms ppl use for little things. everyone uses different phrases. the locals may say one phrase, and the newer folks who are from elsewhere may say something totally different. you are going to see a large mixture of both. i probably heard the term "you all" or "you's guys" more than i heard, "ya'll," in the asheville areas.

Do you want to know how to keep the South beautiful?
PUT A YANKEE ON A BUS!!!!!
I swim here, eat here, drive here, live & love here. Born & raised, I wouldn't trade my beautiful beaches & vast countryside for any amount of concrete & fast food you could ever offer. You know what they say here, if you can't stand the heat...get out of the South. You have to be tough to handle living here but please don't stop visiting, we need to feed our pet sharks. By the way, they don't just swim off the coast of Carolina, it's best that you stay indoors.

WE WON THE WAR AND WE WILL GO WHEREVER THE HELL WE PLEASE SINCE WE EARNED THAT RIGHT. KRISPY KREMES AND BOJANGLES ARE FAST FOOD TOO BTW. AND PLENTY OF SOUTHERNERS DO THEIR PART OF DESTROYING THE COUNTRYSIDE BY THROWING ALL THEIR BUD LIGHT CANS OUT THE WINDOW.

I'm so confused! If a Southerner moves to NC, is s/he an outsider or an insider? I need to know what I'm going to be next week!
