If you are listed as an occupant on the lease and not a tenant, then move out and find a better roommate. You really don't have any rights as just an occupant. Don't expect to get any money back from the landlord.
I don't allow sublets or guests over 30 days. If you are over 18 and living in the house your name is on the lease as a tenant.
I have an Alcoholic Boyfriend. Feb he wrecked the car (in my name) got DWI - blew 23- it was hit and run. They broke into my house to get him. I told him he had 30 days to get out. Well it is April 24th... He refuses to leave, threatens to take 1/2 of everything I. The house. He is on another drinking binge, took away all keys - all vehicles are in my name. House and everything is in my name. I do not know how to get this Loser out of my house. He isn't hardly working, not meeting obligations. What do I do? How do I get him out???
