Question Lincoln County versus Iredell County

I'm a Charlotte native looking to relocate to either Lincoln or Iredell counties. I love the Lake Norman area, but just want out of Mecklenburg County. I would love to hear opinions on the areas, neighborhoods and schools. Our house budget is around 200-250k.

Thanks!

If you want to be near the lake look into Denver Lincoln County and Troutman in Iredell both
towns are small communities and homes in your price range
Troutman has the only place you can swim from the shore
