Hi everyone.I need some advice with some towns.Like a lot of other people on here,i'm looking for a "quaint" town to relocate to.But it would be ideal to live within a reasonable distance to one of the bigger cities for work.I really want to purchase a home with some acreage.Mainly because i have a lot of dogs and always wanted a little farm.If anyone has any websites i could look on or any advice at all i'd be so grateful.Thank you in advance, you all are so helpful on here.

I was trying to figure how to answer your post then I wasnt sure where to begin due to this is a large state with various large cities with differnet type of cultures and living.

Good News it still rather rural state maybe you could help by letting us know if you want to be close to mountains like near Asheville, in piedmont near Greensboro or Winston Salem, Charlotte, Raliegh Durham, Coastal Plain like Greenville, or Rocky Mount or by the coast near Wilmington. Thanks

well i was researching about asheville.Maybe outside of asheville.Definately not the coastal region because of the storms.I want to be inland.I just want a country setting with atleast 2 acres. But i'd have to be near a town where i could get a job.Wish i didn't have to work I'm currently in the veterinary field,so some kind of animal work would be perfect. I've heard that polk county is good, but i don't know much about it.Any advice would be great. Thanks so much.
