Hi there! What are the nice areas to live in Raleigh and Charolette? I'm looking for a liberal, artsite enviroment, safe area, good public school, within close distance to casual places to eat.

Also, if you know of any website links to see photos/info of the area that would be awesome!

As always, thanks for your imput!

We recently moved to Huntersville and although I can't say much about the artsy stuff everything else fits the bill around here. More places to eat than money to spend doing it. I'd imagine just within a 10 mile radius of us it'd take about a full year to eat at each place if we went out to dinner every night.

For Raleigh, I know of a website that has a listing of neighborhoods that pretty much fit exactly what you're looking for...many of them with their own page with photos:
tinyurl.com/r7wbw
(Note: I think it's run by a real estate person, but I like the link as a reference...it's quite useful for people wanting to learn about various Raleigh neighborhoods.)
