Default Caldwell County Career Center

Can someone explain this to me? Is it like a trade school? How does one get accepted to this school? Just wondering...we have visited this area before and have a 16 year old son who is interested in welding/building. I was wondering about this High School? Any info at all on Caldwell County schools would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

It's my understanding it's a combination senior high school (grades 11 & 12), a junior technical college and a trade school.

hky_gal is on a distinguished road
According to the Caldwell County Schools fact sheet I got at one of the job fairs:

"A new full-day expanded service begin this school year at the Caldwell Career Center High School. Once this inaugural group completes two years, they will graduate from high school with both a strong academic foundation as well as advanced college/technical course work in preparation for a two year commitment towards a community college degree."

I know, it doesn't tell you very much, but hope that helps!
