Question History of Neche - 1920s and 1930s

Greetings,
I am working on a book based in southern Manitoba. Manitobans from around Gretna, Manitoba enjoyed the recreation opportunities in Neche, North Dakota. I wonder if anyone has any information on the following:
1.Barnstormers- is there anyone with details of a biplane pilot that took people for rides at the cost of one cent per pound?
2. Barnstormers - does anyone have any details about the time Satchel Paige played ball in Neche? I believe it would have been around the early 1920s. I also believe the team he played with, was the New Jersey Colored Giants or the Jersey Colored Giants. Any details would be most welcome.
3. Buidings and structures - What were the prominent structures in Neche around the 1920s. Did Johnny's Bar exist at the time? What was it called? What other structures were there?
