.A WINTER STORM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE ROCKIES AND INTO THE
CENTRAL PLAINS FRIDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY. THE STORM MAY BRING
SNOW TO PARTS OF WESTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA SATURDAY
AND SUNDAY. THE LATEST INDICATIONS ARE THAT WESTERN NORTH DAKOTA
FROM HETTINGER AND BOWMAN THROUGH DICKINSON AND BEACH TO WATFORD
CITY MAY SEE A PROLONGED PERIOD OF LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WITH
SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS LIKELY. THE TRACK AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE

Head's up...

Deepening low pressure will move across North Dakota today (Friday) with a band of snow accompanied by high winds to affect much of the northern 3/4 of the state...areas north of I-94. Expect blizzard conditions for a time to hit...starting in the Minot area toward noon....Devils Lake-Jamestown by 3 pm and the Red River valley toward 6 pm. Storm will last about 6 hours.

Another head's up...

Looks like an early spring or late winter snow storm taking shape for most of the state Tuesday into Wednesday (3/22-23)....Some areas could get more than a foot of snow.....from northwest into the southeast-east central parts of the state.
