Possibly moving to Belfield or Dickinson (house, live in, oil)

OK.. this is my first post in this Forum, and I have a couple of questions. My husband has been offered a job in Belfield, and if it works out we would like to move there. We live in a very small town in New Mexico now, so Belfield sounds nice, or even Dickinson. Is there affordable housing in Belfield or Dickinson? Are the residents amenable to outsiders? I've read alot of the posts and I would like to know what to expect. ANY information would be helpful to us.

Looks like you can get a decent house in Dickinson for under 100k, what's the definition of 'affordable'?

Dickinson may be different than Watford with the locals. in Watford they are not open too outsiders, oil field workers and their families specifically.
