As a life long North Dakotan I can attest that this is a fairly common scene during winter driving in North Dakota.

This is a the road entering a small community in Western North Dakota. There is a stop sign on the road that bunches the cars up. I'd say about 4 out of 5 of those units are oil industry vehicles.
