Default Im gonna puke, wth!

Those housing rates on craigs make me sick to my stomach!! Im sorry, but may karma wreak havoc on your rotten souls! I'd rather lease than pay 4,000/month for a 3-bedroom home. Just think, that's 24,000 in 6 months. You know what I could do with that much money! You know how many people would love to make that much in a year!

Car campers, you have my best regards, may god be with you!

I pay $6180 per year for my one bedroom apartment, and that includes all utilities. You are right. To go there and rent a place that costs that much money.. you're basically working an extra 80 hours plus a month and getting nothing for it. But if I owned real estate there, you can bet I would take advantage of it. Being a landlord can be messy business. Lots of people who have no consideration for other people's property and treat it poorly.

I agree. It's absolutely a disgusting display of greed. I don't care if I have to live as far away as Bismarck or Billings, I don't plan to play what they're asking for rentals at all when I go out. I would consider buying, but def not renting from a bunch of greedy a**holes.

I assume you are just as upset that rental prices in New York are just as expensive?

New York? Isn't that the place where they have a fracking ban? $4,000 rent and you can drink the water? ...sounds like a bargain.

I have came down to the conclusion that to work and actually make money there, I can only afford to buy an RV at my local dealer (rather have my money go there than williston), and park it in an rv lot for less than 1,000. I can finance a 5th wheel for 100 bucks a month, definatly makes more sense, and I get the whole damn thing to myself.

Good plan, Dave. -Probably be able to sell the rv easily as well.

Housing is the real challege...after you get a job.

I do see a lot of housing coming on board, and some of the RV places and over priced places are emptying out as other choices are becoming available.

I suspect living here means some communting time will be involved. The high rates are if you want to live close to your work or in town.

People making hay while they can....I suppose I would too if, the shoe were on the other foot.
