Yep, after I posted that I thought to myself, wait a minute, they were here before me so...guess I am the visitor or guest.
Wonder what they think of all the drilling going on? Talk about an invasion of one's home then.
Still spooky though to me lol.
You know, I saw one just South of Watford City about 3 weeks ago. He was driving a 1999 Freightliner with Louisiana plates and pulling a belly dump trailer. -Talked to him on the CB radio, he said he couldn't believe how much money he was making.

LOL, I know it! This is what I am talking about they scare the heck out of me. I just try not to make eye contact with them.
Wolves! WOW! Being from out of state, we would have the occassional coyote roam through our subdivisions looking for loose garbage cans, but that was it.
I live in a rural area west of Williston and I see so many animal tracks in the snow and wonder what they are. Some are big and might be deer, but the others I'm not sure of. Sometimes I walk around my property at night and think about what might be around me and if there's any danger.
the wolves that they released in Montana several yrs ago re: conservation, I'm sure that is how it started. I'd be cautious in a rural area especially.
Those big tracks were made by the big man- we call him Chiye-Tanka in Lakota. The people from Turtle Mountain call him Rugaru. You call him Bigfoot or Sasquatch- all the same being.
Sasquatch are not in North Dakota. They are in Hollywood doing Geico commercials.
That's funny calling it a kitten, well really not that funny. That "kitty" would have given me a heartattack and then eaten me, had I found it on my couch.
i always take my dogs with me, my hope being that if something is out there, it will take the dogs first and give me time to get into one of the outbuildings or the house. :d.
lol.....
