Jonathanphilosophy: Are you the same poster who has been on here with at least 3 different names trying to get under the skin of people for the last month or so? I love some of the responses you have received, they are priceless , there are some really great members on this forum.
Yes Jonathan, please, please come to NoDak and bless us with your wondrous presence, we just can't make it without you . Pffffffftttttttt.
I think you are right!! There are some similarities and coincidence with some of the past "forum-challenged" posters. And then they vanish, LOL
Isn't your mother tired of you living in her basement, eating her day old meatloaf?
This? Really? it isn't 1998 anymore my man. Next you'll send me an email about the Microsoft email "test" where I get paid according to how many people I email.
This board gives me Internet nostalgia. it's retro In here. I mention some college then BAM suddenly everyone has a master's and PHD. Irritate someone then bam, you live in mom's basement...
I drive BMW, well we have Porsches so f... you lol.
I got that idea from people who have masters and PHD's. Do you think anyone hiring people will hire anyone who can seriously outgun them academically? Think again. I know it's counter intuitive but that's the way it is.
No...
No, it's really not. I'm not sure where you're getting this stuff.
Shoot, my dad has his juris doctorate (ie, lawyer), but he recently got a part time job at Menards.
He's not sure he's going to take it yet, but the offer is there.
Hey Jonathanphilosophy:
Either quit while you are ahead, or just plain quit.
You come onto a public forum with a lame question and then bash people who have completed their higher education.
Oh, and when I attended the Schneider meeting and heard their job offer, I listened the advice taught to me by my grade school drop-out father: "If it sounds too good to be true, don't buy into it." I walked out on Schneider before that recruiter even finished talking. You just didn't quit soon enough.
And by age 34, you should already know what you want to be when you grow up. Oops, too late.

Everyone got pissed at me for some reason when I said trucking blows. For the record Schneider is good, it's just a crap industry. Everyone who hasn't been trucking thinks it's a silver bullet.

Having a JD does not make you a lawyer, there is more to it.

No, I think it was more like when you said it wasn't a skill then continue to look down your nose at it when many here are not only truckers but aspire to it. It's rude and insulting.
The worst part though, is you are a trucker and plan to use it to get a job in ND, that is hypocritical.
