I have no words!!! Thank goodness she was able to call, and helped. I surely hope that she has family in town. There has got to be a special place in hell for someone that would do this.

No words here either. Stuff like this sends my mind reeling. Having loved ones in the same age group as this gal, it hits pretty close to home for me. Thank God she was able to get help. I hope this guy gets put away for as long as the law allows and I also hope he meets a 'special friend' named "Bubba' while he's incarcerated and Bubba shows this guy how to "squeel like a pig". Maybe something will happen to this loser like happened to Jeffrey Dahmer - I can hope, right?

Meanwhile, a village in Idaho is missing their idiot - and I bet they aren't looking very hard to find him.

AGREE! Not only would it solve the creeps issues, it would save society hundreds of thousands of dollars and completely eliminate the risk of him getting out and re-offending, a win-win. Our societal pendulum has swung way too far off course when it comes to the way we deal with human trash like this guy - he has all the rights and will reap all the benefits of those rights. Meanwhile, even though his victim survived the attack, it is most certainly something that will be with her for whatever time she has left in this life.

BTW, as of last night, the accused rapist has a facebook page that was still open to the public. In one of his posts from early February of this year, he had posted that he was in North Dakota doing electrical work.

Yes, we have to protect this sicko's rights. How about releasing him to the family and let them decide what his fate will be. One can see why vigilante justice has gained some popularity. Even those that have gotten the death penalty sit there for many years. In the mean time they get food, clothing, a warm bed and medical care. The system has gotten way off course. The victim in this crime has been given another kind of life sentence, as has the family. This crime is beyond disgusting.

Would something like this have happened before the oil boom, in a sleepy town the size of Dickenson, most likely not. For all the boom and money is it worth it?

I also wonder if this is the first offense for this big, dumb ape.

Hey todd00, I can't remember the last time I heard of an 83 yr. old victim of a sexual assault in N.D., let alone in Dickinson. But no, of course, it is not because of the oil boom...................wink, wink.
