RUMOR

Someone said today that Walmart would provide housing if you took 4 bucks less an hour.

Not sure where this stuff comes from.

Just wanted to be clear about my newest 'rumor' .

Heard this tidbit yesterday:

Buffalo Wild Wings in Minot has been named their NUMBER 1 restaurant in their chain. All employees will get a bonus (at the time I heard this RUMOR, the person who shared it with me was unsure of the bonus amounts), also, all servers will get a $2.00 an hour raise (most servers at the Minot restaurant were about $2.00 an hour or more above minimum already - according to the RUMOR).
Nice. My Son worked at Pizza Hut for a few years during H.S......wonder what the tips are these days???

Any word if Menards is REALLY coming to the Williston area. First I heard yes, late last summer, and talked to a few people at our WI Menards who said they thought it fell through due to lack of potential employees. I know that Minot is their number one store and anything near Williston would most likely top that. My upcoming move would be MUCH easier with a Menards in the patch. I LOVE that store!

Sleep too long and you might end up in Alberta.

FACT

Front page of the paper today... Buffalo Wild Wings pulled out of the Williston deal.

Truly kind of weird after all hey the ads they had. I wonder if they didn't get enough applicants?

Despite advertising, Buffalo Wild Wings

Heard this first hand from Walmart Manager.

1. They do not offer housing, as was the rumor. There is however a temp agency filing bodies with Walmart that does.

2. They are as of yesterday 215ish employees short of full staff. (read openings)

3. They are having workers from all over the country come to work there to help out. But not busing them in.

4. They have an 87% turn over rate. She said it's because everyone quits soon as they find oil job.

I just wanted to post this because there are 215 or so openings... if you're interested.

RUMOR: Some businesses are removing the doors from the stalls in the mens restrooms to prevent guys from feeling comfortable enough to 'sit' and do their business. Evidently the messes left behind are getting out of control.
