DakTana, sorry, but Fairview and Sidney are not booming as much as Williston is. I frequent the entire area on a regualr basis. There is nothing else going on at the moment compared to what is happening in Williston. And not to step on anyone, but even Stanley, Tioga-Ray, and Watford City are booming faster than Sidney or Fairview. But I'm guessing it will eventually head that way in a bigger way. I know Sidney has 3 new hotels built or in the process, but so has Watford, Stanley and Tioga. I've just seen more construction and earth turning in the towns east of the ND border than west of the ND border. I wouldn't compare what is happening in Sidney-Fairview as on par to what is happening over in Williston. Sorry, but if you compare the new housing numbers, construction permits and dollar values of those permits, and influx of people...there is little comparison.

Here is a news story on Ray, ND that was on the KX news tonight. This shows the impact this town is having in NW North Dakota.
