Psht I'd take any mancamp, I've lived in a 3rd world country for 10 years .
Can't find none though, plus all I hear now is it's getting harder and harder to get an oil job, I could probably do something else service related, apprentice for a skilled trade maybe, still the problem of housing remains.

I came to Minot in early April , lived out of the ol hippie van at Wal-mart for a couple weeks , about froze . Met a guy at work who invited me to his houses driveway , with extention cord out his window into the van had a heater , and wi-fi , I was fat . Did that for a couple weeks and found a nice room and shared kitchen an bath for 700 a month , was there for a month and found another nice room 6 miles outside of Minot in Burlington for 400 a month , and the lady cooks for her roomates,, sweeet , Point is , if your determined ,you can find a way. Good Luck.

Lucky person....You have lucked out a gotten a Sweet N.D. lady as a roommate. I loved when I did disaster work, and volunteers from all over the U.S. would come....the folks they were helping would cook big meals, pastries...good old fashioned neighborly folks. That's what N.D. is made of. You must be good people for folks to reach out like that....Good for you.
