i remember riding bike by the house alot when i was younger and spending time across the street at the Bohl's house. it used to be brown, the yard had huge bushes out front by the road that obstructed much of the view with alittle entrance carved into the bushes. i dont know who used to live there or if anyone actually lived there at that time but i used to be scared of it. the people that bought it did alot of work to the outside, not sure of the inside since i have never been in there. ask my old man if you see him at the post office sometime, he would know more about it then me.

Actually Super Walmart has not opened yet it was suppose to open this year 2007, but wont open until 2008. As far as Upham is, I lived in Glenburn, which is just south of Upham. I have a couple friends that live there and farm. There is not much in Upham I believe just a bar/cafe. If you hunt then hunting is good.

Default I love Upham

I love Upham, my husband is from there. The bar is about all there is in that town. It is a nice little town and the people that live there are very nice too.

Default Upham

That is a name that I remember with great fondness. I have enjoyed reading all the posts about the town I grew up in. I love to go back and write about my days of growing up there. Those days are only remembered in the halls of my mind now as so much has changed. I left there in 1965 for the Air Force. But I will always remember the good times and the not so good that I had growing up in this small village on the plains.
I hope to see more posts from Upham here as the days go by. Enjoy the cold. I recently moved to the middle of the US to get away from as much of the cold and snow that I could. I won't miss it.
