I just want to come home!!!! (Bismarck: hotels, jobs, hospital)

I've lived here in the south for literally half my life and I miss my family in North Dakota. I plan on moving back up north in the middle of next year but I need to find a good job. I'm looking for something in Bismarck and I have 5 years experience with hotels and am an Assistant Manager for one right now. Is there a pretty good market in Hospitality for Bismarck?

Lots of new ones have been built in past couple years. Lots of new stores have opened also. I am not sure what jobs are open, but I know there are tons of them. Go to www.discovernd.com and look up Job Service site.

Canad Inns is aledgdly building a 16 story hotel next to the civic center though I don't think its supposed to open until 2007 or 2008. If your'erelooking to find a job in Biso though, now is probably the best its ever been.

Not sure if you are still reading these posts, but, Hampton Inn is in process of being built and construction will start in a couple months on a candlewood suites.

Besides Hampton Inns, and Canad Inn (which I found on their Canad Inn website that they are in the planning stages for a 16 story for Bismarck)...there is also the extended stays Candlestick Inn going up across the street from the Holiday Inn Express...East of the Space Aliens area. So I agree, this would be a good time to check the Bismarck market out... There is also rumors of a new hotel being planned for the Pinehurst square area by Lowes, Kohls, etc....but not sure where there is room.
