Hi all, we are moving to bismarck in a couple of weeks. I saw plug ins outside the company i am going to work for. So this got me wondering if i need to have engine block heaters installed on the vehicles when we get up there.

Thanks!

I would recommend it. Make sure you get a good heater that joins into your water lines. That heater heats your fluids and circulates through the engine keeping the entire block warm.

Do not buy a head bolt heater. Do not buy a dipstick heater.

Check your vehicles closely as a lot of cars already have them. they coil up the electrical cord and hide it in an frame pocket

The actual heater will run $75 or less, depending on size. I would recommend 2000 at the most. A 1500, plugged in all night will do fine. If you want to go out in the morning and plug it in for an hour, a 2000 will do the trick.

Yards telling what installation will run, but they only take an hour to install. If you are mechanically inclined, they're pretty easy to install.
