Default Tired of Winter?

Middle of January....have the good folks of North Dakota grown tired of winter by now?

I follow the news and weather in ND, I find it very interesting. Was glad I watched the news special , ND's comeback against the "emptying article", and saw some state pride !

And the past week or so, some one opened the freezer door and didn't close it in ND!

I'm originally from ND and moving back next summer. It's no secret that ND winter's can be rather harsh, very cold. But, most that have lived there(and still do), know how to deal with the cold. It's just a winter time nuscience, but not a big deal! If your moving to ND from CA, your not going to understand it right away, but if your determined to become a mid-westerner (NoDakotan) you will understand it in time. If your able to make it, you'll find the NoDakotan's are probably the most friendly people on earth and someday be thankful, you stuck it out!!!
Good Luck!!

The weather isn't really so bad. I don't know why they make such a big deal out of nighttime temps of -15, it happens every year. It's God's way of making us all feel better about the 5lbs of padding gained at Christmas. It's not fat, it's insulation!

and, its not like North Dakota is the only place in the world with harsh winters. Eastern Montana, Northern, MN, all of mid Canada...and even SD, WY, ID, MI, WI, etc... have their moments too. We could be Upstate NY with their FEET of snow storms...I'll take the cold, arid anytime.
