Last year, hometown boy Carson Wentz made it big in the NFL when he got the starting quarterback job for the Philadelphia Eagles, now Cara Mund has won the Miss America pageant!

Great publicity for my old stomping grounds! Congrats to both of these great role models, and congrats to Bismarck!

I wonder who from Bismarck will become famous next year?

Well, there is also Bismarck native Paula Kranz Broadwell, who was briefly infamous as the mistress of David Petraeus . . .
