Need suggestions on breaking our apartment lease cause of fire next door. We were displaced by the management cause they need to replace the walls and floorings in our apartment. We are currently staying in a hotel for more than a month now and the management still cant provide an estimated time when we can move back to the apartment. They offered us to move back but in a different unit that has 2 beds only cause there's no available 3 bed apartment for us. then, we opted to stay in the hotel cause we need a 3 bed apartment and we don't want to move all our things to the temporary unit then after a couple of days will be moving it back again to our apartment. I would want to seek any advise if we can break our lease so we can find a new 3 bedroom apartment cause living in a hotel is not really convenient at all.

I would contact the Consumer Protection division of the ND Attorney General's office with your question; it's toll free if you're calling from a 701 area code: 1-800-472-2600.
