Default Truth about Harvey, ND?

I'm looking at visiting Harvey, ND for living, starting or buying an existing business (was looking in Fesseden's Cabaret Lounge that has been closed) and wondered if anyone reading here might have some inside information as the this area's lifestyles, economic health, areas of expansion, etc. Tell me what you know, what you like and what you don't like. I am in the senior part of my life, so I don't need to know about raising children, etc. I'm looking for fun, good neighbors, nice lifestyle, and pondering during these years prior to the big sleep!

Default Truth about Harvey, ND

Fessenden hasn't exactly been getting rave reviews here, and given Harvey's proximity, I would be extra cautious.
Fun, good neighbors and a nice lifestyle aren't exactly synonymous with Fessenden or Harvey, ND.

Harvey is a very nice town that has a major railroad going through it. It has a school K-12 and lots of activities. Call the chamber to get more details.

I suggest you contact Rick and Sheila Jensen, Owners of "The Mix 1470" KHND-AM in Harvey, North Dakota.

Their stations' website is The Mix 1470 KHND. It's Harvey's local raido station, playing Classic Rock Music and they've been the owners there for several years.

They probably know a fair amount about the town and they seem like nice people. I'm sure if you asked them a few quesitons about the town/area, they could direct you where to look.
