Kid Friendly/ Fun Restaurant Fargo
Hi,
We are driving to Montana to visit family. On day 2 of our drive, we hope to stop in Fargo in the morning, and do something fun to wear out the kids (2&4 y.o.). Usually we stop at Children's museums on the Reciprocal List, but they don't show anything in North Dakota.
Then we would like to go somewhere fun and local for lunch.
Any suggestions for
1. Something fun to do on a weekday morning in June.
2. Lunch place.
Thanks,
Deb

I'm sure they would like Space Aliens, lots of games there and the food is also pretty good. As for things to do, as mentioned there is a Zoo and there is also a children's museum that they might like, I remember going there when I was a kid. Here is the link... Home

There's a Dinosaur Playland at the food court in the West Acres mall. There's nothing fun and local about the food court, as it is the usual fast food, but the Dinosaur Playland is a pretty good place for kids of that age to run around and have fun.
As previously mentioned, there's the Children's Museum at Yunker Farms and the Red River Zoo. You could also stop at a park. I would recommend Lindenwood Park.

I echo the other comments....we took our 2 yr old to Red River zoo and he loved it last summer. Not too big nor too small and he loved the petting zoo. Also we loved Lindenwood Park too. Though when we went the mosquitos were out....and when we go down for shopping at the mall the Play area is nice too.

Thanks. Those are all great ideas. Maybe we'll do the zoo if the weather is nice and the children's museum if we need to be indoors. We were planning on going to Space Aliens in Bismarck for Dinner, so lunch there is out. Maybe just a cute diner or something? Nothing to overload their senses too bad.
