Default Other Engineering in Minot?

I'm going to be an engineering student this fall at a college that has a co-op program (working for a firm for 3 months before returning to school and repeat). Problem is that I don't want the "build a building or dam" type of engineering, but something more along the lines of computers.

I want to leave the nest, but still have a friend nearby as backup -- one particular lives in Minot.

Is there anything close to what I want in Minot? Any engineering besides building?

I just graduated w/ a chemical engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and will be in Bismarck working off and on (full time in Bismarck August).

Minot is a few hours north of where I'll be.

This is unfortuanately on the same lines of the previous poster but if you're willling to go south a bit (to bad gas prices are so high - driving back on the weekends could be rough), you could look into the following:

Kadrmas Lee & Jakson
NISC
MDU Resources
Basin Electric
Bobcat - they have a great coop program
Applied Engineering
Bullberry Systems
Unysis - maybee
and i suppose the State of ND
K2 Interactive - website design
Odeney - website design i think

Here's a website I found - Team ND - maybe it has something in Minot.

Thinking about it, Kadrmas Lee & Jackson also has an office in Minot - they might let you do a coop there.

Again, it's Bismarck, but Ulteig Engineering does a lot of electrical engineering/consulting work, and they have EE vacancies currently listed on their web site.
