Default Looking to move around Elgin area

Can I please get some information about Elgin and the surrounding area? I was looking into buying a business or something and I was told that because I am an outsider that we wouldn't be welcome. Is this true?

Default info on north dakota

If you google elgin nd you will get the homepage for elgin. I personally live in dickinson which is about 40 miles west of elgin. I am originally from Maine and moved out here about two months ago. My family and I moved to North Dakota to help start good Bible believing churches. I was a pastor in Maine. As far as people treating you like an outsider, I haven't seen anyone do that to me yet. The people in North Dakota are very friendly. When we first moved into Dickinson people would constantly say to me welcome to Dickinson or welcome to North Dakota. I have driven by the area you want to go to. There is a new church up in Minot that asked us to help them, and we drive by Elgin to head up to Minot each time. North Dakota is very nice. You will see some really awesome sights here. If you have more questions then send me a direct message and I would be glad to help you in any way.

Does the "LDS" part of your name stand for Latter-day Saint? If it does I think that you will find a church N, W, and E of you. All about an 1.5 hrs. away.

I'm sure your well aware about some of the misconceptions and the way some people treat Mormons. I would think that it would be even worse in a small town of about 600 people.
