Default My Week In North Dakota

Just got back from a week in Fargo area visiting relatives. Fargo seems like a very progressive town with major employers like Microsoft and Meridian located there.

Spent a lot of time in Sibley which is a small village on a lake. Did some fishing and chatting with many of the locals who are mostly from Fargo area and have weekend cabins there.

Also spent some time in Valley City and found the town to have a lot going for it and many that live in small surrounding towns go there for work and shopping.

Overall I found North Dakota quite pleasant and the people very friendly. The weather was similar each day which from what I gathered is fairly normal for summer there. Cool in the morning, warmed up afternoon, got humid around 3ish and then really cooled down at night.

I think North Dakota people live a good life and the only drawback I can see is the winters are brutally cold.

Jasper

Yeah, Fargo is pretty decent. I want to move back to Kansas City eventually, but that'll be after my wife graduates from grad school. In the mean time, life ain't bad.
I'll tottaly spread the good word about Fargo when I leave, though.
