Question about North Dakota
I have heard that alot of people in North Dakota work from home on the internet, I am wondering if anyone can tell me how they do this, who do they work for? Please do not send me a bunch of scam site, from what I have heard they actually work for legitimate companies in North Dakota. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I only know of one person who works from home on the internet, my friend's mom. She is a medical transcriptionist or something. She basically types out what a Dr. writes so they can keep it in a computer data system. I know a lot of people who work at call centers such as sykes and aetna, but those aren't from home.

Verety is getting to be very popular for empty nester, stay at home moms and college students. They take drive thru orders on-line for fast food resturaunts.

I know Verety as the gal that lives in the apartment below mine works for them (and she often has me fixing her computer). They take drive thru orders for restaurants as Roloff stated. The down side is they pay minimum wage or just above it to start.

only thing to keep in mind though is if they can get a reliable internet connection, no reason they can't just send that over to a foreign company to do the work. I have a relative who does the medical transcription thing and she is finding that a lot of the places are starting to send the jobs to India.

A few months ago I heard that the "taking drive-thru orders" thing was moving in ND. OKay. Fine. But if you expect to make any more than minimum wage, you're wishful thinking....especially when the people that actually work IN the restaurant probably don't start at more than that!

There are other jobs for entrepreneurs, i.e. website developement, C++ for companies, payroll, etc. I know people in each of these jobs that have applied with on online resume and was hired on their experience and education. Posting an online resume will be your first stop.
