Default Pet Friendly Rental Housing in Grand Forks, ND

My husband and I are possibly moving to the GF area, but are having a really hard time finding pet friendly housing. We would be moving soon, mid- to late September, and probably wouldn't have a chance to go visit before we move. Our dog is 50 pounds, although he doesn't look it, and is very well behaved. We'd prefer a house/condo/duplex that is more on its own, an apartment complex won't work for us.
We cannot make this move if we are unable to find pet friendly housing because our dog is our kid!
Any help that someone could toss our way would be very appreciated! Thanks!

Hi

Good luck...I dont know how much you have checked and how...but I will throw two web sites at you which would contain pretty much all there in GF. One is aprartmentshq which is a listing of all the newspaper classified listings for rentals in the area, including apartments, duplexes and homes (but single family homes for rent are few). The second is Alerus Financial Property management which is probably the main property management company in town when it comes to owner owned places (such as duplexes, homes) that are for rent. If you tried all this and no luck...then perhaps then someone at the property management place can direct you elsewhere. That's about all I know...I know nothing specific to guide you to. The students arrive in town this week, but there have been many more rental apartments built in the last few years...so rentals of all kinds (not just apartments) should be a bit easier and more accomodating.

ApartmentsHQ is your headquarters for Red River Valley area apartments
