Don't move to north dakota! It's cooooooold!!!!!!!
Yeah, that's what I get every time I mention relocating to North Dakota.
Well, thanks a lot, Captain Obvious! And in Arizona, it's HOOOOOOOOTTT!!!!!
I understand that it's cold. Did you really think that when I started to consider North Dakota, that I overlooked that little fact?
Surely these clowns don't think that suddenly I will realize that I had forgotten to check the temperature?
That I'll get all wide eyed and gasp! And say " MY GOD! YOU'RE RIGHT! HOW COULD I HAVE NOT KNOWN? OH, WOE IS ME! WHEREVER SHALL I MOVE TO NOW"?
You folks must get really fed up with that sort of nonsense.
As for me, it's just one more reason to pack up the plantation and point my compass North!
All the best,
R

Before I moved to AZ everyone also to me it was hot. I was not prepared. A day or 2 over a hundred is one thing. Months on end of temps that are over 100 is another thing.
I'm from ND and it is cold. A few days of -5 and a -30 windchill is one thing. Months on end of freezing weather is another.
Good luck.

I get a laugh out of the people who think ND is the only one with weather problems. You can pick other states like MT, WY, MN, MI, WI, IL, NY, VT, NH, etc.. etc.. and YES, they get cold too. There are SOME parts of the other states that have milder winters...but COLD just the same. Some states down SOUTH are too humid...some are too hot...some are too wet...some have hurricanes that destroy entire regions, some have tornado's that wipe out entire communities...and sometimes in the same year. So people can go ahead and make fun of us who chose to live in ND, I like it here just fine , thank you very much

I'm a weather buff so I like extremes of weather. Anything to keep folk from moving to ND is good in my eyes. The state is a sleeper.

Me too... I am especially fond of storms.
I can understand you not wanting a mass migration to ND.
But, it is just myself, the wife, and daughter.

Oh yes! I have lived in KY, TN, MS, AL, LA, and FL!
Hurricanes and tornadoes suck!
And I can't deal with that heat and humidity!
