Jaeger is on a distinguished road
Default Williston ND

Considering Williston ND and are used to small towns and North Dakota weather amongst other areas, although what is the crime rate like in Williston ND, any better or worse than other small towns in ND?
What about rental property/homes and or real estate in terms of difficulty to attain or no worse than other areas?
Of the oil companies in Williston ND, which would probably be considered the better companies to consider working for in terms of the company taking care of its employees and their families, such as pay, benefits, flexibility, etc?
Thank you.

Williston has very little crime considering it is going through a boom right now. It is a very safe community as compared to other towns its size. As far as housing, there is still a shortage, but there are many new homes and apartments being constructed...rentals are hard to come by, but there are trailer parks with rentals or purchase. I would look into Sand Creek estates. They have new manufactured homes for rent starting at 700. per month...this includes the lot rent. Bakken Heights is the new apartment dev., rents run from 800-1300. per month...but I heard there are no vacancies there, you usually required to put yourself on a waiting list that local realtors can help you with. Many workers stay in hotels until rentals open up. They are building 2 new hotels in the spring...so that should help with some of the hotel shortages occurring. Your best to check with local realtors. Use the link below to navigate to everything about Williston.

as far as oil companies...there are over 160 oil related companies in Williston...and growing. The bigger ones are Halliburton, Sanjel, Key, Knight, Schlumberger, Wisco, National, Red River, Quail, Natco, Connors, Baker, BlackHills, Stallion, just to name a few...I would check with North Dakota Job service (in Williston) to find out who has opening and what the benefits are, etc... even though the price of oil has dropped drastically, the companies are still building, expanding and hiring in ND...because of the Bakken and Sanish3forks plays taking place in the Williston Basin. Many speculate the drops are temp, and will recover within 6 months...(not to the 150.00 per barrel we saw over the summer, but back up to the 80-90 per barrel)...good luck.
