Default Doughnuts in Minot

We take our kids to go get doughnuts on their birthdays and it is a family tradition that they look forward to every birthday. Do you in Minot have a doughnut shop (I have looked and can't seem to find one) and if not where do you go and buy them.

No, we do not have any doughnut shops left. The best place is at MarketPlace Foods grocery store. They are the best in town. Perkins is a great place for pies.

You could always have FedEx mail some Krispy Kreams (Or whatever you prefer)to you, if it's only a few times a year. Just make sure there put into an insulated bag and put into a rigid box. Also, you could hire a clown, or some other character and do the whole thing in-home.

Just a thought.....

i think there are a few stations around like some of the cenex stores that have crispy cream doughnuts braught in daily from fargo,it is more like a case in the middle of the store,But they are fresh and is much diffrent than going to a shop,Now that you mention it is is kinda odd we don't have a doughnut shop! my wife is wanting to open a food bizz maybe i will tell her she could have at least one customer in that kinda bizz lol!counting me would be two..

There was a pastry shop in the mall, but the owner retired and nobody would buy her business. Having to get up at 5am to start the dough didn't appeal to a lot of people. There is a bread shop in Bismarck that seems to do well. I wouldn't mind having one those stores here.

It's good to know that there is still an almost donut free zone in the US. Here in Little Rhody we rack up one shop for every 5k people....
