I ,may watch to much tv lol? To honest i was watching a thing about young white kids in the south who talked about hittler like he was a king! And honestly that was the first thing that popped in my head when i started reading! i guess i should have thaught a little harder? the kids or skinheads or whatever they are turned my stumach watching them and listening to the ways that has been washed in there heads! I could not imagine my children acting like that! |

Swampyankee you have no idea what you are talking about. NEVER have i seen whites and native Americans fighting up here. We do not have many other races here but we welcome them all. We dont have an unusual accent. Yes other races may be stared at because we dont see that many up here. In my opinion this is one of the best places to raise a family.

And thats the way i see it also! I know a lot of good people from all backgrounds! I think it bothers a lot of people for the fact we treat everyone with respect when given respect! They think we are lying? So if its diffrent other places i will stay right here in ND !!!! |

I know some folks who came out from Toronto to Montana back about 1970... they honestly thought we were still fighting the Indians out west, and were dumbfounded to see actual civilization instead.
These weren't stupid people (dad was a major in the Air Force, son has a physics degree, and remains a good friend) but there did seem to be a timewarp between the eastern and western parts of the continent. Wouldn't surprise me if some variant of that thinking survives today, especially among eastern city folk who've never been anywhere else.
