Thanks for the report! I actually just saw the newspaper piece. Glad to hear its getting out on radio, too. The organizers are worried about slow ticket sales and rain in the forecast, but I'm optimistic for a good turnout.

Hi

Speaking of the weather....I am a meteorologist in Grand Forks and really doesnt look that bad coolish...but most if not all rain staying to our south toward Fargo. I am updating the forecast a bit...to keep nrn edge of light rain mainly just south of town early evening.... not impossible it the northern edge of light rain skirts the city sat eve but wouldnt be heavy more like sprinkles.

good luck. ticket sales to events are always tough to gauge this time of year as so many residents head east to the Minnesota lakes over the weekend. But with cool weather forecast many might stay home.

How's the tourism for Devils Lake, now that it's the size of a small ocean again??

When we lived in Bismarck, sometimes we'd go up to Garrison Dam. I remember rolling down the smooth grassy slope when I was a kid -- the kind of fun kids don't get to have anymore!
