I don't know what you're looking for, but considering that I rarely find myself with a bunch of free time, I'd imagine that I do enough.

We're all hunter-gatherers up here, we still live in caves and eat raw meat and plants (Ooooga Boooga). Ummm why in the hell do most people assume that if you live in North Dakota you must: A) Suffer from extreme boredom, or B) Be stuck in a time warp? What do people do in North Dakota? they make sure their state remains one of the best-kept secrets on earth.

Post of the day! Good one, MoN! Yeah, we get a few of those el dorko posts on the okie forum.

You never hear of small town or country/ranch/farm/rural people going to L.A. or NYC threads and posing some lame question like, MY GOD! How you can you people live in that filthy city with all those whackos and hoity toity rich people? What is UP with all the graffiti, etc?

Why? Because we don't care where you live or what you do. We are, for the most part, content with our lives in rural America. At least I am.

To the OP! Have fun wondering.

I dont know why you people are getting so offended. MoN just asked you a question. Be glad that somebody is showing some interest in your state and answer the question without attitude or sarcasm. Thank you!

OMG... Dom15... the question posted by Cityadventurer was posted with attitude and sarcasm!!! The responders are just answering the question, the same way it was asked.

I am not offended. I am amused by the OP's question. Now Dom, let's just consider the question aimed the other way. An okie or an ND posts on NYC or Chicago or L.A forum: OMG, what do you city people do for fun?and see what response (sarcasm and attitude) you get.

Everyone is different and everyone has their own version of what is fun. Same goes for people who live in rural areas and small towns.

People work, we pay bills every month, and we revel in the solitude and natural beauty of rural life and open fields versus the city life.

Thank you for asking.
