Renting in Minot?
Is there ANYWHERE in Minot where there are rental houses? We don't need to buy a house as we are just needing a place to rent for about 6 months to a year until we can get on base housing. I cannot find ANY houses to rent in Minot. Are there such things?

Not sure what's going on. Before I posted it, I checked it out and it listed about 8 apartment houses. But I had to go into the text version instead of the graphic.

You will probably be better off looking in nearby smaller towns rather than Minot.

have you tried 1st Minot Management Inc. ? Base housing will soon be privatized so are you sure you want base housing? |

Well I tried looking in smaller towns around Minot but there really is nothing near Minot that I could find that wasn't almost any hour away from Minot. I am not sure what privatized means and I haven't heard anything about that pertaining to base housing. We would like base housing because the air force provides everything for us on base and since my husband will be working on base and I will be working near the base this seems like something we would want to have. That and there are no rental houses that I can find. Every time I find one I contact someone about them and I do not get a response ever. Then I find out that they have been rented out to someone else. I'm not sure what to do exactly.

Yes I have tried 1st Minot management. They have one house that is out of our price range and since they do not allow pets in apartments or duplexs, that has not been very helpful. The other property managements I have looked at do not have any rental listings.

My husband and I will be arriving in Minot on Saturday October 10th. We have 10 days to find a house!
