Hello,

We're moving to SD in the spring, near ND, in Lemmon. Does anyone know of any food co-ops or of any farmers who grow organic foods (doesnt' have to be certified, just grown that way) both produce and meats? Free range eggs (also known as yard eggs)? Are there any farmers markets in the area, or organic grocery stores? Any info would be helpful... thanks.

I do not know of any organic markets in Bismarck...but the local markets have organic products in special sections of the larger stores like Dan's, Cashwise, Super-Walmart, Mircacle mart, etc... During the summer and fall, they have farmers markets and some do advertise organic...but that is something you might need to check out if you come up to Bismarck. I know the most popular farmers market takes place a few times a week in the K-mart parking lot during the summer and fall months.
