Thumbs up Possible move to ND

I have a second interview with a company based in Fargo. The place I will possibly move to would be the Lisbon (Ransom County) area. What is it like in that area?

Lisbon is a pretty good town. It has the basics....and it did really well pulling together doing the 2009 spring flood along the Sheyenne. The flooding along the Sheyenne is not very common but can occur in some springs. But even last spring with the high water the sandbags kept the water out of town.

Lisbon named 2009 City of the Year « Ransom County Gazette

I have been there for weather spotter talks...and stayed at the Super 8 in town. KQLX is the radio station in town. The area has gentle rolling hills and farmland all around it with the exception of bluffs and a very scenic Ft Ransom State Park which runs along the Sheyenne from Lisbon northwestward. It is a great canoeing area.
