Cajunham, EOG is an national oil company with ND headquarters in Stanley. They actually just completed a very nice office building in that town. They do everything from oil production, engineering, water disposal, oil rigs, etc... so there are probably all types of available jobs associated with the oil patch (kind of like HESS). They are a permanent staple there (as long as the boom continues)..as far as Pecan Pipeline, I don't know too much about them. I am guessing they are involved with the building of many of the gas pipelines in the Williston Basin. Pipeline work is not always steady, because the job can end when the job is complete...unless they move on to another region or state. I would definately check into EOG and see what types of jobs they are offering.

Thanks for the reply, I have seen the pictures on the Bakken Blog and have seen some job advertisements at their (eog) website, the permanent type production jobs, trying to get a handle on how they work, one job had a 28-28 but did not say who the employerer was. A similiar job was on the EOG website but I am trying to see if anybody on the net can get some specifics from the Stanley, ND area about their schedule?

7-7, 14-14, 5-2, 28-28, 4-4?
