Cool need info about a city church/cemetery

Hi. My husband and I are doing a geneology and traced our roots back to the 1600's Norway. One of our relatives came from Norway and settled in Walsh Co, Adams ND. I am trying to find the church/cemetery he is buried at. I have searched everywhere and can't seem to find it. His son is also buried there along with thier wives. The name of the church is Trinity Lutheran Church. I know they have a cemetery because of a funeral card I have of one of the desendants that states services were held there and he was buried there. That was 40 years ago. Is this church still in service and the cemetery still there? Please let me know!

What service are you using ,ie: Ancestry.com etc,? There is a Genealogy thread in the Hobbies & Recreation Forum...you might get some ideas there, too. I have had luck with some of my ancestors from Norway, but no luck with the Swedish ones...Scandanavian names are sometimes hard to trace, as they had a different way of naming children...Good Luck

As someone who dabbled in geneology for a bit, even with the internet the best way to trace this information is microfilm of obituaries at the local historical society. Grand Forks may have this information due to it's distance from Adams. I'd try calling there and see what they have. If they do have that data, you can probably convince someone to take a look for you by sending them something nice from your local. Local brews are always a winner .

Hell, I'm in Grand Forks 2-3 times a year (next visit mid-February). If you do find information I wouldn't put myself above being bribed with homemade goods.
