small world because I just moved out of the Flagstone apartments and now live in Osgood. basically there are a billion apartment buildings in this city, so just figure out your price range and start dailing numbers.
We have a two bed, two full bath, double garage, washer and dryer for somewhere around $600/month. The building is only about 3 years old as well.

I like the "farther" south fargo area.
42nd St and 33rd ave south - Point West
32nd and 32nd - Oxford / Dakota Park

You should try apartmentshq.com or just grab a Fargo Forum, the newspaper, its classifieds always has a bunch of apartment listings.
However, if you're into nightlife, I would try living in the downtown area.

Apartments.com - Search Results
Try this. It's on apartments.com and it shows two apartment buildings in Fargo. Another site is rent.com, but I just checked it and they're doing a bit of work to the site. Move.com is another site. Good luck to you.

Apartment HQ. there is also a free book/pamplet you could pickup in supermarkets that has listings there but that link will have alot more.
there are tons of apartments in fargo, south fargo seems to have more newer buildings from what i found but if you are going to NDSU you might consider north fargo since it would be closer to the college.
i just moved out of an apartment of 33rd street, the rental agency was pretty good it is hegenes management. personally i would advise to stay away from goldmark but maybe just my experiences with them were bad.
