For the first time since moving to the Scranton area, I am in need of a kennel for my dog. Time is short (my first plan has now fallen through), so I was hoping all you knowledgeable folk can point my in the direction of a safe, healthy and neat kennel that would be good for my 1-year-old English Labrador.

We bring our dogs to Hamlin Kennels. We have a kennel about 1 mile from our house. But we are so comfortable with Hamlin Kennels that we drive about 30 miles to use them. My first time stopping in to check it out I was given a tour of the entire kennel. I was very impressed with how clean it was. The owners are very professional and very friendly. I feel like our dogs are staying with family. I leave my dogs with no worries.

We have a great Kennel and Groomer in Lake Ariel - Canine Connections, clean and the owners are fantastic with the dogs.

Spring Brook Kennels is about the best in the region - pretty new facilities, very clean. The owners are very patient (we have a belgian malinois who was an abused stray... and he doesn't like people too much, but at Spring Brook - they understand and take good care of him).

Going with Springbrook Kennels. Heard from some others that it's a good place with good people running the show. Remus will have a big run, play time and be groomed before coming home.
