Wow the traveling host was on TV this morning and named some best places to go to with families.....I was just "overjoyed" to hear the name SKYTOP LODGE come up.
He really promoted it big time. How wonderful. Because it is a fun and inviting place.
With lots to do for all. The dads can even be golfing while the kids are at the pool with Mom. There is indoor things, and outdoor things.......
They have a lot for kids. Plus, there is a chef class for the kids and it also teaches them manners, and such.
He mentioned many places that were good for a family vacation.......but so nice to hear him say one of our Pocono favorites.
There is a lake for fishing there. Different restaurants inside.
Hiking and archery. A fantastic asset to the Pocono Region.

I wasn't too crazy about Cove Haven. We stayed there about 8 years ago and it had a worn down element to it. It attracts a lot of NYC people now, we see them with the paddle boats on the lake, and often talk to them while anchored. I think Cove Haven has to update their facilities if they plan to be open for a long time.

Yes, well.......Skytop is really the ultimate. But, then.........you pay for that also.
It is not inexpensive up there.
But, it has enought to keep the entire family happy for a holiday. Plus, it is well cared for and well respected.........and now on National TV!

Skytop is a truly beautiful place. I have only driven by it, but I get the feeling I would stick out like a sore thumb there!
When I win the lottery I'm booking a vacation there!
