Interesting observation, one has wonder if the large elderly population was taken into account.

It also explains the lack of GOOD jobs. What company wants to move to an area filled with a bunch of uneducated, incompetent workers. It makes sense. There is no hope for this area. It's sad but true.
Anyone with any sense LEAVES.

The College Drop-Outs Hall of Fame: Famous college dropouts, successful college dropouts, and rich college dropouts

Just click on one letter say "G" to see who dropped out of college........
Glen, Gershwin, Getty, ( Bill ) Gates ( LOL) Lady GaGa .......The list goes on and on.
One can do good things, go places, and inspire, without that tag. Not that I am against college at all.
I've paid those big bills for education. Its just that it is not the "stupid" or " uneducated" tag that I agree with at all. NEPA people are more relaxed, less pretentious...but not dumb.
Try a few letters here.......some very smart people who didn't go to college.

I don't know how Sarasota "officially" stacks up as far as an educated populace is concerned; but I can say the "dumbest" people I have ever met were not from NEPA, but are from Sarasota. :-)

I don't live in Pittston now, so I can only speak from past experience; however at the moment I live in Sarasota and I stand by MY OPINION! Ever talk to folks from the Newtown section....I'm sure you have much in common. :-)

I can say one think, rude people seem to be everywhere, including wherever u r typing from.
